Scientific Committee

The conference is organized by four young group leaders from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBCH PAS). Marta, Monika, Agnieszka, and Katarzyna have a common interest in RNA biology and neuroscience, yet conducting quite distinct research agendas and focusing on different aspects of molecular neuroscience in the homeostatic and diseased nervous system. Please find more details below.

Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS

ICHB PAS is located in Poznan, central Poland and belongs to the leading Polish research units. We conduct interdisciplinary research combining modern chemistry, molecular biology and informatics. RNA research has a long tradition at the IBCH PAS. In recent years, the Institute has significantly advanced the research on the border of RNA biology and neuroscience, including: revealing the function of non-coding RNAs in the brain, testing therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, or implementing experimental therapy of brain tumors in patients. Funding

Neuro-RNA conference is mainly funded by Polish Ministry of Education and Science within "Excellent Science - Support for scientific conferences” program, and supported by our generous sponsors and IBCH PAS.
